That photo is obviously not of the new consol but my main concern is will it be backward compatible for the games

    • thedutchful says:

Should be or else Sony is starting to get retarded….

    • Golden says:

Rumors are that it isn’t backward compatible with PS3 games. Sony are moving away from the Cell that they used to power the PS3 and instead going for a CPU & GPU combination from AMD (according to rumors at least).

I don’t know if I’ll be getting it or not, I was planning on jumping over to PC when the next console cycle came around and maybe buying the next PlayStation or Xbox 3-4 years down the line when they have built up a good library of games. We’ll see though.

Already took a look at this it’s gonna be more like PC now not sure I’m already ready for this next console but probable end up buyin it on release…lol

  3. EightyThor says:

It’s too soon, way too soon for a new console man….

    • thedutchful says:

Agree but the market is leading the competition is to big and fast… don’t forget clouding is rapidly growing so in a few year you won’t have consoles at all……

      • EightyThor says:

        I understand that but I’m still not happy man… I originally bought the 60GB in 2007 (Now got a 320GB) so that’s only 5 years… Über short.

  4. thedutchful says:

Well i feel the same m8 will see how it goes…..

    • devney says:

ill be a bit gutted if theres no backwards compatabilty theyd just be shooting themselves in the foot with that idea, ive had the ps3 from launch so id defo be on the preorder list for when it did arive no matter what.
