EA unveiled the DLC sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 last night – a Vietnam multplayer expansion pack.
Swedish studio EA DICE has put together a DLC pack that includes new vehicles, weapons and environments.
The original game, which launched in April, sold over 5m units.
Battlefield Bad Company 2’s DLC will be available for PS3 and 360 with the PC version announced later.
Here is a post from DeadeyeDK on the EA forums with more info on the expansion.
“BFBC2 Vietnam is confirmed to have four new maps, a new faction which will be the North Vietnam Army, it’s own weapons that will obviously be authentic and consistent with the time period and setting of Vietnam, new vehicles so maybe the Huey, MH-6 Little Bird, mopeds, etc, new maps and new specializations, as well as separate stats than BFBC2, so you’ll start out rank 0 or rank 1 with 0 pts and a 0.00 k/d etc, and it’ll have it’s own pins and insignias”
